A Message from Mrs. Rudloff
We are so happy that many of you had the opportunity to join us for our Veteran’s Day Program. We hope you enjoyed the performance. The fifth graders worked very hard to make this a special event for those attending. A special thank you Mr. Lucas, Mrs. Kratz, Mrs. Peterson, Mr. Vuagniaux, Mrs. Marble, Mrs. Hinz, and Mrs. Doyle for all their help in preparing for the day. A special thank you for all the candy that was donated for the troops. Please read the blurb later in our newsletter for details.
We have officially hit the midway point of our second quarter. Today in grades 2-5, you will find a Mid Quarter report in your child’s Friday Folder. This is a great time to discuss with your child his/her current progress and set academic and personal goals for the remainder of the semester.
Kindergarten and 1st grade parents, we hope you can join us for the K-1 Thanksgiving performance which will take place on Tuesday, November 20th at 3:00 pm.
It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week. We have many things to be grateful for at Cottonwood. We are truly fortunate to have students who are so engaged and excited to learn every day. We have a caring and talented staff that makes sure that students’ needs are being met. And to round it up, we have a wonderful community of parents who are supportive and dedicated to ensuring that Cottonwood is the best school.
Just a reminder, there will be no school for students on Wednesday November 21st - Friday, November 23rd. The Cottonwood staff would like to wish you and your family the very best Thanksgiving! We hope that you enjoy time with your family and friends!
** Due to the shorten week. There will be no newsletter sent next week.
It's that time of year, when Walking Club takes a break due to weather. Walking Club will not meet again until we resume classes after Winter Break. We will start up again on Wednesday, January 9th.
