A Message from Mrs. Rudloff

Fun Day!

What great weather our students had for fun day today. The students enjoyed a day of camp-themed activities. Thank you to all the parent volunteers assisting with the day. Many thanks to Mrs. Doyle for putting in countless hours preparing for the day! Great job!

4th & 5th Award Ceremony

On Tuesday, May 28 at 2:30 the 4th & 5th grade students will be recognized for their many accomplishments throughout the year. Some of these activities include Safety Patrol, Fitness Awards, Attendance, Golden Sowers and Newberry Awards. Parents are welcome to join us.

Talent Show

The annual Cottonwood Showcase of Talent for 1st-5th grade will be held on Friday, May 31st at 9:00 Prior to the Showcase, grades 1-5 students will get the chance to perform for their grade-level peers. The grade-level performances will occur with just their peers so that each student gets to do his/her act for an audience. Each act will be voted on (secret ballot) by the students and/or teachers at that grade level. A maximum of three acts per grade level will move on to perform for the whole school!

Acts are to be no more than two-and-a-half minutes long. Music must be transferred to CD or iPod. We will not be accepting any “lip sync” acts, and a child may appear in only one act. If your child wishes to perform, please help him/her develop an act that will be appropriate and enjoyable for all ages. Thank you for your support. We hope you can join us.

Grade level teachers will be sharing information of when their grade level Talent Shows will occur.

It's not too late to order a 2018-2019 yearbook!

Click the Yearbook Order Link below to reserve your copy BEFORE Wednesday, May 15th to guarantee shipment to Cottonwood before the last day of school.

Because the official deadline for yearbook sales has passed, customizable pages are no longer available and each family will have to pay $7.99 in shipping costs.

Please contact Lindsay Peterson at Lmpeterson@mpsomaha.org with questions.
