Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Conferences are coming up! We will do all of our conferences in-person. We will be having conferences on Tuesday, October 10th from 4:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday, October 11th from 4:00-8:00 pm. The information to sign up for conferences is in this newsletter. We look forward to talking with you at conferences.
Blue Ribbon Celebration:
On Thursday, September 28 at 3:00, we will have an assembly/pep rally to celebrate our Blue Ribbon School award. Parents are welcome to join us on the blacktop! We are so proud of the hard work and are excited for this recognition.
Walking Club Reminders:
All students need their lanyard to walk each day. That is our signal that they are signed up for Walking Club. If they don’t have their lanyard, then they don’t participate that day.
Walking Club doors open at 7:55am and close at 8:05am. If a student shows up after 8:05am, then they don’t participate that day.
We are amazed at how many students have joined the Walking Club and we appreciate your help with the procedures to keep everything running smoothly.
Medicine:
Students are not allowed to transport medicine (even cough drops) to or from school. An adult needs to bring in the medicine to the health room and fill out the appropriate paperwork. This also includes cough drops. Thank you for your help!
Have a great weekend!
Dr. Penke
Congratulations to Aldrich for being named a Blue Ribbon School for 2023!

All Star Staff Member of the Month
Our first All Star Staff Member of the Month is Mr. Charles! Mr. Charles was nominated by Maureen Rezac. She writes, “Mr. Charles does the hardest job in the building with an ever present smile on his face. He is quick to help with any request sent his way, and has approached me about things needing work in my room that I didn’t even notice. Mr. Charles is willing to learn and take on the many facets of his job. He is a kind presence in the building to adults and kids alike. A strong custodial team is the backbone of the school, and I am so grateful for Mr. Charles. Thanks for keeping our ship afloat!”
Thank you for making Aldrich a better place to learn and work!
