Halloween:
We will be having a Halloween celebration on Tuesday, October 31st. Halloween guidelines are included so please look over those here. We are welcoming parents to join us for the Halloween parade at 3:00pm as long as the weather permits.
Inclement Weather and Recess:
We know that the weather changes quickly around here. We live in Nebraska! Here is the District link for the Inclement Weather information. We do go outside for recess as long as the temperature with wind chill is above 10 degrees. Please make sure your child is prepared for the weather. We use weather.gov for our temperature reading as many websites have many variations.
No School:
Reminder that there is no school on November 6th.
We need your help with Arrival and Dismissal:
School begins at 8:30am. Students are tardy if they arrive at that time. The doors open at 8:15am. Students who come in late not only feel rushed but also disrupt the learning of others when they come to school late. Please help establish a good morning routine to get to school on time.
School ends at 3:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. School ends at 2:30pm on Wednesday. Please arrive on time to pick up your child(ren). Our staff have meetings and other duties to take care of after school.
Have a great weekend!

All Star Staff Members of the Month
This week's All Star Staff Member is Sarah Lockhart! Mrs. Lockhart was nominated by Ross Whiston. He shares, “Sarah is so great at developing our 1st grade students into lifelong learners. She challenges her students to grow and does it in a way that is kind and supportive. I am always impressed at how much growth her students make throughout the year. Many of our older students often come back to visit Mrs. Lockhart which shows just how much of an impact she makes on students. Our students know that Sarah cares for them and wants to see them succeed. She’s always flexible and helps to make Aldrich a special place.”
Thank you for making Aldrich a better place to learn and work!
