Korina Young is excited to continue her journey with Muskegon Public Schools as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Technology, Arts & Design instructor at Muskegon High School. A graduate of Kendall College of Art & Design, Aquinas College, and Ferris State University, she brings more than 35 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia, publishing, business ownership, and education.

Korina’s passion for graphic design began as a student in the graphic design program at the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District. She later taught graphics and design at Grand Valley State University and most recently served as an elementary art teacher with Muskegon Public Schools.

She believes the classroom should be a place where creativity, innovation, and problem-solving thrive. Korina is excited to build a dynamic program that connects classroom learning with authentic industry experiences while preparing students for college, careers, and lifelong success.
