1st Grade Teacher, Marquette Elementary

Hi! I'm Courtney Settles. I graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in Illinois. This school year will be my 2nd year teaching since graduating from University of Missouri- St. Louis. Last year I taught in a 2nd grade classroom in the St. Louis area. Now being in Michigan, I am excited to build a new community and long-lasting relationships in the Muskegon area! 

I moved to Muskegon with my partner, our bernedoodle dog Buck, and our cat Oakley! I love spending my time in nature and exercising. My hobbies include baking and taking care of my indoor plants.

I am most looking forward to getting to know the staff at Marquette. I have heard nothing but amazing things about our building and I cannot wait to get started! 

Fun Fact about me: I was a left-handed catcher on the softball team at the University of Missouri- St. Louis.
