Hi - I'm Katie Parks. I graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School and attended Washington State University.

I worked as a financial service specialist for Washington State Department of Social and Health Services for 7 years after graduating college. I eventually obtained a leadership role in my last 2 years. When moving to Michigan I worked as a Foster Care Specialist for Catholic Charities. Prior to graduating college, I volunteered in my daughter's co-op preschool as well as her first few years of elementary school.

I looking forward to working for MPS as I used to carry water for the Big Red Football team when my dad was the paramedic (he now helps with announcing). I also was part of the co-op swim team when the program first came around.

I have two daughters who currently live in WA state and they are entering their senior and freshmen years. I have a corgi and enjoy spending time at the beach.
