Katherine Martin - 3rd Grade Teacher Marquette

Hi! I'm Kate Martin. I graduated from Whitehall High School and earned my BA of Psychology from Hope College. 

This will be my first year in education! I have been a Registered Behavior Technician for the past two years after graduating from college. I am so excited to step into the education world, as this has been my dream for so long! 

I grew up in Muskegon and on the West Side of Michigan and can wholeheartedly say that the West Side is the BEST side. I am excited to work at MPS because I used to be a Big Red myself and know that the team here is outstanding. 

I have two sisters, and both of my parents are educators! I love hanging out with my friends and spending LOTS of time outside. Hiking and camping are always at the top of my Summer To-Do list. I usually go camping with my boyfriend, Noah, and his dog, Russell. I love playing volleyball, basketball, and softball in my free time as well as going for long walks. 

Fun fact about me: I am an identical twin!! She teaches high school at Mona Shores.
