Alexandria Dawson - Paraeducator
Alexandria "Lexi" Dawson is excited to join the Muskegon Public Schools family as a paraeducator supporting students in special education. She is passionate about being part of a community dedicated to helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.
Lexi has worked in education for nearly two years. She started working as a sub in 2024 and then transitioned into a resiliency coach role at an alternative high school. Before education she worked in the healthcare field. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in school counseling.
Lexi graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School and earned her Bachelors- Allied health science, minor in psychology from Grand Valley State University. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with students while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Outside of school, Lexi enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two children. She is proud to be part of the Muskegon Public Schools community and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of students.
