Course Overview
The Percy Julian High School Visual Arts program empowers students to develop creative and technical skills across multiple disciplines—Graphic Design, Photography, Art I, Art II, and AP Studio Art. Through hands-on projects and critical analysis, students learn to communicate ideas visually, explore personal and cultural identity, and apply design principles using both traditional and digital media. Our goal is to cultivate artistic literacy, creative confidence, and professional readiness for college, careers, and lifelong engagement in the arts.
