I have been teaching with MPS for 22 years and have been blessed to spend the past 13 years at FAAM. I grew up in Montgomery and attended Montgomery Public Schools, so it is very special to now serve the same community that shaped me. I graduated from the College of Charleston and loved my time there, especially the beautiful campus and historic charm of the city. I have a deep passion for reading and love inspiring that same enthusiasm in my students while helping them grow in confidence and responsibility each day. 

I am the proud mom of two children — my daughter is studying at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), and my son is studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of school, I am active at First Baptist Church and love spending time outdoors and with family and friends.
