I am so glad that you're here! 

We're in the 3rd Quarter of Kindergarten. We are learning so much!!! We are reading, writing to inform, and adding and subtracting. Make sure that your child is practicing every night at home for at least 30 minutes. Here are some important tips to help your child succeed:

1. Read over your high-frequency words, spelling words, and vocabulary words every night.

2. Practice writing your words in the correct context by writing complete sentences. Try to write at least 3 or more sentences containing 8 or more words. For example, The little girl went on a quick ride with her family. Add details. Describe the nouns and verbs.

3. Practice writing a paragraph. Start with an Opening Sentence, write two or three details, and write one closing sentence.

4. Practice learning your math facts (adding and subtraction) and ways to make 10.
