About Me
Hello! I’m Beth Crittenden! I have been a part of FAAM since 2001 when my daughter, AnnaBeth was in first grade at FAAM. I was an active member of the FAAM PTA until I joined the faculty in January 2006 as a second grade teacher, when my son, Eric, was in second grade at FAAM and have been here ever since! I hold bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education from Huntingdon College (Go Hawks!), a degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University in Montgomery, and a Master's degree from Troy University . This year, I’ll be teaching your child reading, language, spelling, and cursive handwriting. We stay busy in my classroom, but I am confident your child will see significant growth in their skills by the end of the year!
I’ve been extraordinarily, happily married to my husband, Bob, since August 1990. The Lord blessed us with two children: AnnaBeth and her husband, Michael, who live in NYC and Eric who lives in Nashville. I am an avid reader, enjoy following the British royal family, love to bake, get excited about seasonal decorations both in my classroom and at home, and have an intense passion for teaching. Bob and I travel as much as we can during school breaks. We have two kitties, Duchess and Reign (yes...royal terms) that keep us entertained with their antics and busy with cat hair!
These are a few of my favorite things:
Candy: Ghirardelli 72% Chocolate squares
Salty snack: Skinny Pop (original flavor)
Restaurant: Cava, Chick-fil-A, Chicken Salad Chick
Drink: Dasani water
Color: Blue
