Intermediate Algebra

Course Overview and Units of Study

Intermediate Algebra covers the algebraic concepts and skills that were covered in Algebra I, as well as a further study of nonlinear equations and quadratic functions. Students will gain a deeper understanding of nonlinear functions and their applications in order to apply these concepts to real-world scenarios. This course will focus on the main ideas and broad principles of Algebra with assessments that are aligned to intended instructional outcomes.
