The Eye Mobile comes to Las Estrellas

The Kirby Puckett Eye Mobile is the E.Y.E. program’s mobile eye clinic.
With two fully-equipped exam rooms and an optical shop on board, the eye mobile is an eye doctor's office on wheels. The eye mobile and its team of eye care professionals travel to Minneapolis and St. Paul Public Schools to provide eye exams for children in need who have been screened by our Early Youth Eyecare Community Initiative.
Thank you to Phillips Eye for their help! We got several of our Las Estrellas children glasses!

School based care is a dental program that provides comprehensive dental treatment to kids in their schools. This includes cleanings, exams, sealants, fillings, extractions, and crowns right here at Las Estrellas!

Options for free COVID testing:
Make an appointment or walk-in for free saliva testing at one of the free community testing sites offered by the Minnesota Department of Health. Results normally are available within 1-2 days. Some sites offer rapid testing for people with symptoms.
Make an appointment online for your local pharmacy.
Make an appointment through MyChart with your child's clinic.
Request a free home saliva testing kit from Vault at https://learn.vaulthealth.com/state-of-minnesota/. The kit is usually delivered the same day to your home. We also have a limited number of kits available at school for you to pick up. To do the home saliva testing kits:
Register or log-in on the Vault site at covid.vlt.co.
It requires a Zoom visit for the testing, so make sure you have the app downloaded.
Mail the sample via UPS in the free mailer included with the test kit (at The UPS Store or other UPS sites). Results usually come within 1-2 days after mailing.
