On Thursday, June 5, Southwest alumnus and former National Security Advisor of the United States, Jake Sullivan, was at the University of Minnesota for a public speaking engagement. Students in Ms. Jevne's 6th hour class joined Jake for the public engagement as well as a private session with Jake only. Jake's personal warmth, obvious appreciation and affection for Southwest, and recounts of his experiences in governance at the highest level made for an invaluable experience.
