Mr. Lindqvist, 10th ELA
Welcome, scholars and parents, to my teacher page!
My name is Lars Lindqvist, I teach English 10 and Honors English 10, and I am a proud Polar! This will be my 5th year at North High School, and my 4th year teaching 10th grade English. I am the youngest teacher at North High School, and North is the only school I have ever taught at. I have always had a passion for education growing up as the son of a teacher, and I've always loved reading, writing, and arguing especially. Additionally, as someone who has lived in Minneapolis all my life, I knew I wanted to serve the community that had given me so much. Therefore, I pursued these callings by getting my Bachlor's Degree in English Secondary Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (Go Badgers!). I came to North in 2011, fell in love with the school, its community, and most of all its scholars. It has been my dream and my great fortune to be able to teach here every day!
Outside of school I enjoy reading (obviously), watching soccer, being with family and friends, traveling, and (until September 26th 2020) wedding planning as I proposed to my fiance, Phoebe, this summer.
