Peggy Crowley

Hello! My name is Peggy Crowley. I am currently a special education teacher for kindergarten, first and second graders. I’ve been both a general education teacher and a special teacher for 35 years. I have been a teacher at Bancroft for 17 years and can honestly say that it is the best school I’ve ever worked at.

I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduation, I joined the Peace Corps and moved to Tunisia, North Africa. I collaborated with the Tunisian government and together we opened the first school for children with disabilities in a small town in Southern Tunisia. When my job was finished, I spent a year traveling around Africa. I’ve also taught in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and London, England.

I live in South Minneapolis and have three children, a 25-year old and twin 19 year olds. 

I look forward to meeting, working with, and connecting with Bancroft students and families this year!
