Jenna Birkeli

Hello! My name is Jenna Birkeli and I am one of the Special Education teachers in the Autism program here at Bancroft. I work with 2nd and 3rd grade. I absolutely love the community I get to work with here at Bancroft! This will be my 6^th year of teaching as well as being my 6^th year at Bancroft. I have always wanted to teach in the Minneapolis Public Schools district as I myself grew up in South Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis Public Schools K-12. I am a proud alum of Burroughs Elementary, Anthony Middle, and South High School!

I received my undergraduate degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato. One thing I love most about teaching is building relationships with my students and their families. I love learning everyday with my students and teach them ways to connect/enjoy learning. I am looking forward to a new school year at Bancroft!

I currently live in South Minneapolis with my husband and my puppy! Outside of school, I enjoy the outdoors, running the lakes, skiing, biking, and time with family/friends!
