Challenge 1 - Write a formula for the volume of a triangular prism

Sometimes, we do the same thing over and over.

We develop formulas (or algorithms) that describe the general case.

Then we simply substitute the numbers into the formula to find our solution.

One formula you already know is the volume of a rectangular prism.

Volume_{rectangular prism} = length x width x height

Using this idea (writing a formula with the words instead of numbers),

write a formula for the volume of a triangular prism.

You will need to use the words: base, height, depth, and/or right and left.
