I heard a lot of great math talk using multiplication vocabulary!
Here is a little of what I heard:
Length and width is a way of an array. I think the one that has the most factorizations is 36, it has like 5 ways to do it. The one that has the fewest is all of the prime digit numbers because prime numbers you can only multiply the number by 1.
Most are like multiples of a number like 6 have the most factorizations. Prime numbers only have one.
1 has the least factorizations. 48 has the most. 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9. They all have one column (one factorization). The original number becomes a factor of the doubled number.
The numbers that have the least factorizations are prime. The ones with the most are composite.
If you double a number, the number of factorizations will go up to (at least) 2 because you have equation with the number and the one, and the half of the number and 2 (e.g. 1 x 66 and 2 x 33).
