The Plaza Tennis Center is a public tennis facility located in Kansas City, Missouri and is a public park in the City of Kansas City Missouri Parks and Recreation system.
The Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department is investing in the facility by resurfacing all 14 courts this year. Having newly resurfaced courts will help the USTA Missouri Valley with their mission of growing tennis to inspire healthier people and communities everywhere as they take over management of the facility for the duration of 2024.
The facility features 14 lighted tennis courts and two practice boards. The exhibition court, adjacent to the clubhouse, features seating for spectators.
The center has previously hosted three Big 12 and the final Big Eight Championships, NCAA Division II Nationals, the USTA Missouri Valley's National Qualifier Sweet 16, a USTA professional women's satellite tournament, USTA tournament tennis sanctioned play, USTA League tennis and instructional programs.

Junior Team Tennis Qualifiers
Why wait until high school to join a tennis team? Or maybe you want to join another team! USTA Junior Team Tennis, or “JTT”, brings together boys and girls, ages 5 to 18, to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other coed teams.
Create a team and play in the qualifier at the Plaza Tennis Center for a chance to advance to Sectionals down in Edmond, Oklahoma this July!

9 Weeks, 6 Matches: We place you in a division with players of your level, you and your opponent schedule when and where matches are played (such as the Plaza Tennis Center), for ultimate flexibility.
