Dear Second Graders,

Welcome to second grade! 🙂 I can’t wait to meet you soon as you start on a new journey as a second grader. It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and new adventures. We are going to have a fantastic year together!

First let me tell you a little bit about me. My

husband and I have three children. Bella is the oldest at 7 years old, and she is beginning second grade, just like you, in Scotch Plains this year! Brynn is 5 years old, and she is very excited to be going into Kindergarten. My youngest is Lucas. He turned three over the summer, and will be attending PEAK with Miss Smith here at Beechwood. Here is a picture of all of us at Liberty Science Center. As a family, we love spending time together taking trips, especially to the beach. We love arts & crafts, doing science experiments, and having many, many movie nights! I am so excited to be your teacher and for you to be part of this awesome all star class. Enjoy your last days of summer! I also hope that you are reading lots and lots of great books. I sure am! See you soon!
