The Rise and fall of ancient civilizations

What we did in this project was make artifacts and have the parents be "archaeologists" and dig up the artifacts. Then we would tell them about the artifacts and the parents would tell us if they thought it was a rise or a demise. How we determined these artifacts however was a long process.  First we did research on our chosen artifacts. Then we wrote summaries on the artifacts that affect the rise or demise of the civilization you were studying. Next we found reference images of how the artifact would look back in the 14th to 16th century. Furthermore we then made our artifacts out of air dry clay to the best of our abilities. Lastly we painted our base color on the artifact and then painted as many details as we could. However we didn't stop there, we did a choice board project or extension. I made a short story based on an image that AI created, I chose to do this because I write a lot and I also really enjoy writing so I thought it would be fun. Moreover there were some challenges in this project. The first challenge I faced was my artifacts breaking, second was the detail and the amount of research we put into this project was exhausting. If I could choose a habit of heart and mind that I did a lot was probably refinement because we also made a map and my group and I had to restart so many times. I also redid my story a lot to make sure it was good, and of course my artifacts I redid a lot to make sure it was perfect.
