About Me

My name is Becca Rolstad and I am thrilled to be back at Turtle Lake this school year! My family (my husband, Joe; 2.5 year old daughter, Piper; 1 year old daughter, Tessa) relocated to the Twin Cities area from Fargo, North Dakota during the summer of 2022. 

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a double major in History and Spanish. From there I followed one of my passions and began working as an Aquatics Director and competitive swim coach. After a while, I realized that I was missing something from my professional life and after some soul searching, decided to go back to school to pursue my Masters in Teaching from Concordia University-St. Paul. 

After graduating, I began my teaching career with Moorhead Area Public Schools, working as a 6th grade math teacher. I am so excited to work with Turtle Lake's 5th grade students and to help them reach their full potential!

Outside the Classroom

There is nothing I love more than spending time with my friends and family! I also love: swimming, golf watching football (SKOL Vikings!), jigsaw puzzles, cooking, and traveling.
