Welcome to music class with Mrs. Semelis! I'm so happy to share my love of music with Turtle Lake students! Please use this site for music room news, and to find extra resources and lessons to add more music into your days.

A little about Mrs. Semelis-

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville , where I received a Bachelor's degree in music education. I taught elementary school music and band for many years in Kentucky before moving to Minnesota. In Minnesota I began a private piano studio, started a family, and then moved on to teaching in school again in Saint Paul after my daughter began kindergarten. I have been teaching at Turtle Lake for four years now and I'm so grateful, it's a wonderful place to be!

On weekends I also teach KinderChoir at a church in Minneapolis. My major instruments are clarinet and piano, but I also enjoy playing the ukulele and guitar. I love camping, crafts, gardening, Star Wars, and spending time with my husband, my cat Luke, my chickens, and my 4th grader.
