Hello, allow me to introduce myself!

This is my fifteenth year teaching social studies and my third in Minnesota! I graduated with a degree in History with French from the University of Durham before completing post-graduate teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University College in the South of the UK. I had a brief career in advertising before realizing that teaching was my passion and I haven't looked back! I worked in three secondary schools in London, England, where I taught a wide range of social studies courses before I moved to the US (my husband is Minnesotan!).

I love teaching social studies as I get the chance to work with students as they gain new perspectives about the world in which they live every day. In my spare time I like to travel, cook, be outside in nature as much as possible, and spend time with my 3 year old daughter! I come from a family who love soccer and so I follow Minnesota United and my team from the UK - West Bromwich Albion.
