Morris Catholic's Operation Smile Club operates as a piece of a larger picture. Operation Smile is an international non-profit organization which aims to provide affordable and safe craniofacial surgeries to children worldwide born with cleft lip and/or cleft palate.
Each surgery costs the organization approximately $240.
Morris Catholic's Operation Smile Club was founded by Brady Hishmeh (Class of 2016) to promote awareness and host FUN-raisers for Operation Smile's global campaign.
In the past two years, Morris Catholic's Operation Smile Club has raised over $4,000 for donation to the global campaign through various fundraisers: tag days, t-shirt sales, photo contests, Panera sales, and the classic bake sale (to name a few).
In their 2020-2021 school year, the club will be utilizing all of these fundraisers plus a hopeful Mara's fundraiser, bracelet sale, and a Jack-O-Lantern decorating contest.
