The Stevens County Community Garden is located at 201 S Columbia Ave, Morris, MN. We share the site with the Morris Area Schools Garden and Greenhouse and collaborate to grow food for both the school and the community.
Parking is available in the main parking lot on the south side of the building. The entrance to the parking lot is on S Columbia Ave.
Shed Access
Shed Access
While at the garden, you are welcome to use any tools, supplies, or activities in the main (unlocked) area of the shed. When you enter the shed, you will find two shelving units on your right.
The shelf on the right contains family activities, educational resources, and a guest book.
The shelf on the left contains tools, gloves, and other items you may need while working in the garden.
Please return all items to their original locations before you leave.

Gardening Guidelines
Be respectful of the garden, other visitors, and the plants.
Stay on designated paths whenever possible to avoid damaging plants and garden beds.
Pets are welcome if leashed and kept out of the garden beds. Please clean up after them.
Return any borrowed tools to their proper storage area clean and dry after use to avoid rust.
Share the space and enjoy learning about growing food together!

What's Growing
This year, the garden is growing tomatillos, four varieties of tomatoes, two varieties of hot peppers, two varieties of sweet peppers, pole beans, zucchini, cucumbers, potatoes, and squash. (The squash is for school use only.)
Aside from the squash, community members are welcome to harvest any ripe produce while visiting the garden. Refer to the map below to see where each vegetable is growing. Also refer to the "How to Harvest" page for instructions on harvesting produce.
