CETEDEX, nestled in the picturesque landscape of Jaén, is a complex that shares an agreement with the public University of Jaén to promote training,  development and research. It also seeks to stimulate the local economy of the region.

Its location among olive groves inspires the creation of a system based on the planting grid of these trees, typical of Spanish culture and land, which form a triangular network. From this natural grid, a unit is created, a system that  organically occupies the land and helps the building to integrate and blend into  the landscape, achieving a low visual impact.

CETEDEX is a ‘living entity’ embracing life-cycle architecture and interacts dynamically with its surroundings. Designed for disassembly, his approach supports a circular economy, with minimal waste and future adaptability. Maximising energy efficiency through renewables aims for a zero carbon footprint by 2050. CETEDEX restores the environment by reintroducing native flora and fauna for user well-being, with LEED and BREEAM certifications.

Football stadiums are filled with history. They are an urban landmark that, like cathedrals in their time, have been preserved and adapted to the city's needs. If the city grows, so does the stadium.

The initiative aims to reorganize the city's sector so that the stadium can be utilized 365 days a year, thereby creating an urban landmark that revitalizes the area and serves as an attraction point for both Málaga residents and tourists.

A proposal for a "typical" World Cup stadium for the group stage and round of 16 has been made. This stadium, which would not host the final, demonstrates a series of circulations, spaces, and seating expansions, serving as a schematic showing how much space a functional architectural proposal for the new La Rosaleda would occupy on the current stadium site.

The planning scheme aims to meet the needs of both the stadium and the city to serve as a host for the 2030 World Cup.

The town of Villarrobledo is deeply connected to the land, with its vast vineyards and olive groves. The locals take great pride in their traditional  clay jars used for aging wine, which can reach up to 3 metres in height. The architecture of a new building in the town is designed to reflect this tradition and the undulating landscape.

The original winery building dates back to 1964 which initially consisted of 26 steel tanks and a wine cellar in concrete tanks and an office. Consequently, several extensions were made, one in May of 1989 and then, in May of 1990. The project deals with the conditioning and restructuring of a currently abandoned industrial  building and its adaptation as an administrative space linked to commerce and industrial use.

The building is clad in baked clay with grooves to add dynamism, and its inclined design allows it to blend with the surroundings. Inside, the building features thermo-clay walls and metallic trusses, with a sandwich panel roof to complete the structure. The wine office within the building consists of a display and sales  room, a small storage room, and an accessible toilet. The overall design aims to  pay homage to the local winemaking heritage and create a unique connection between the building and the land.

Project awarded with a Silver International Design Award in 2020.

Justice is the fundamental principle of treating all individuals fairly and impartially, ensuring their rights are respected and their responsibilities fulfilled in a society. It aims to ensure that individuals receive fair treatment and that the law is upheld to maintain social order and protect the rights of all members of a community.

Despite being a simple form, the circle can change and transform into something more complex. Introducing variations and endless possibilities.

The Court Complex building is designed based on a scheme formed by a lower basement where all the common and technical areas of the building are located, and which serves as a base for the placement of 5 functionally independent judicial buildings and another 5 multi-level parking buildings for public.

Architecture

Masterplan

In our architecture, we seek that formula that allows us to build with the landscape and be one with it. A slope of a mountain has been sculpted by terraces with the aim of hosting the project.

The way the mountain in Trojena has been sculpted recalls the walls of the canyon and valley shaping a Cliff: The erosion process is what makes the rocks become cliffs. The strong winds and water sculpting the rock into powerful waves. This act is used as the DNA of the project to generate spaces and architecture "born from within.”

This gives Valley Cluster significant potential: The potential to transform into something new. A system that reassembles itself to shape practically anything, regardless of its use. Something that harmonizes with the surroundings, reducing its visual impact while remaining extremely striking. An unique duality that merges with the rock.
