About Jennifer

Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Advanced Certified Autism Specialist and a Animal Assisted Counselor. Her diverse professional experience has shaped her career as an advocate for children, teens, and adolescents. This also includes social skill development, and interpersonal skills. She specializes in working with all ages of Autism, ADHD, school conflict, and family situations that arise as a result of mental health disorders. Jetta Bug is her Animal partner and is excited to be working with clients.

About Dawn

Dawn is a graduate intern working towards a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dawn has experience working with adults overwhelmed with life’s challenges and their impact on the family unit. Dawn also has experience working with children and youth on the autism spectrum, intellectual challenges, behavioral issues, substance abuse, cycle of partner/domestic violence, and other mental health issues. Dawn’s approach is to assist the client in identifying the areas of struggle, establish feelings of empowerment that will allow successful growth in a positive direction.

Life can be challenging, but having someone beside you to assist you in exploring issues and any emotions attached can make the process less overwhelming. Working with children, adults, and families and helping explore problems that are a struggle, and collaboratively developing strategies for success is my passion and my reason for entering the helping field of counseling.

Jasmine is a graduate intern working towards a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Jasmine has experience working with children and teens with Autism, intellectual challenges, behavioral issues, and other mental health challenges. She also has experience working with young adults, adults, and elders to overcome life's problems. Jasmine approach is helping clients develop self-acceptance and self-compassion while working toward accomplishing goals and personal growth. She believes in providing a safe environment for her clients to explore and process any issues preventing them from living healthier lives. If you are ready to explore, be in the present, and move toward a happier future, Jasmine is willing to meet you where you are and guide you through your journey.
