What kind?

This is where the fun part of being a home owner is. Not only do you get to pick a color that you're going to look at for the next 20-30 year, you will also have the opportunity to pick the style, or profile of the rib/seam of the panel depending on the type of roof system your roof will allow. With that being said, not only do you need to pick the right color, depending on your roofs pitch, some metal roofing systems will not work.

Lower slope roofs need a higher rib/ seam, Steeper slope roofs need more screws.

How long will they last? Again depending on the style/profile you pick, there are different coatings that can be applied to the metal to keep them from chipping or cracking... Lasting up to 40 Years.

Here at Morgan Conley Roofing and Repair, we wont use any metal that is not at least 26 gauge , colored or not.

Just remember its an investment and choosing the wrong type off roof can cost you.
