Which is Legit?

This Checkology challenge extends student learning by going in-depth into a specific core concept or skill introduced in a lesson, often by exploring a particular case study. For example, the challenge "Watergate: An Iconic Investigation" has students research the Watergate scandal, an important example of investigative journalism like the others in the "Democracy's Watchdog" lesson, and create a resource sharing their findings with peers.

Evaluating Sources Online

This Checkology mission is a fact-checking activity in which students get to the bottom of a piece of information using digital verification tools and skills they learn about in the Check Center.
