Competiive scholarship deadline is DECEMBER 1, 2025
UofL has updated scholarship levels and criteria for both automatic and
competitive scholarships + programs for the 25-26 application cycle.
As a reminder, the deadline to apply for competitive scholarships and
programs (including Honors) is December 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET.Â
Please be aware of the following:
All materials, including letters of recommendation (when required), must be turned into the University of Louisville by December 1 at 11:59 pm. Any materials turned in after that timeline will not be considered.
Test scores and/or GPAs that qualify students for any particular scholarship or program must also be on file with the University of Louisville by December 1.
First semester grades or test scores submitted after December 1 will not be considered.
Please be advised that the University of Louisville is closed for Thanksgiving Break beginning Wednesday, November 26 at 1:00 pm, and will reopen on December 1 at 9:00 am. Emails sent during that time will be answered on December 1. Additionally, we close at 5:00 pm on December 1, and cannot guarantee that emails after 5:00 pm will be answered by the 11:59 pm deadline that evening.
Remember that we will still award our non-competitive, automatic scholarships until April 1, 2026

The priority application for campus housing opens on November 3 . In order to apply for housing, you have to be admitted, but you do not have to be committed to attending by paying your enrollment deposit. We guarantee housing for all students, but the earlier you apply, the more likely your housing preferences will be honored. Students can review the housing timeline to review deadlines and selection periods.
