Welcome to Gamaliel Elementary School! My name is Jessica McPherson and I would like to begin by saying what a privilege it is to serve as the principal of Gamaliel Elementary School. It is truly an honor to have this opportunity and I look forward to leading this wonderful school. This will be my eighth year serving as principal at Gamaliel Elementary. Prior to becoming principal, I was the assistant principal at GES for three and a half years and taught 4th and 5th-grade mathematics at GES for five and a half years.

If you are ever unsure about something, please do not hesitate to contact the school. It is our goal to keep you informed about your child’s progress and the events that are taking place in our school. I wholeheartedly believe that communication between our school and our families is vital to the success of our students. If you ever have a concern, please contact us. We are unable to solve problems that we are not aware of and we want all of our students to have a safe, happy learning environment at GES.

I have one son, Jholdi, who is a senior at Western Kentucky University majoring in health and physical education. He is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Macy.
My parents are Charlotte and Michael McPherson.
My brother and his wife Caylan have blessed me with my nephews, Clay and Callum. I love to spend time with them and spoil them as much as possible.
My family loves spending time together on the weekends and always look forward to our annual beach vacation each summer.
We have six precious poodles that we are crazy about!
