About Us

My name is Cybil Bartley.  In 2012, I became guidance counselor at Monroe County High School.  I'm a 1994 graduate of MCHS and a 1998 graduate of W.K.U.  I began teaching in Monroe County in August, 1999.  I received my MA and Rank I in counseling from W.K.U.  I'm happily married to my husband MacShane.  We have two children Ramsey Kate Belcher (Austyn) and Reece Harlan Bartley.  In 2025, we welcomed our first grandchild.  When not at school, I love spending time with Briggs! I also find pleasure in being at home on our family farm; we have cattle and horses.  I enjoy visiting the Amish, watching Reece play ball, and cooking for my family.  

This is my 29th year in education. I taught Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy for 22 years at Monroe County High School, 1 year at Metcalfe County High School, and 2 years at Barren County Middle School.  This is my 4th year as guidance counselor at Monroe County High School.  I love my job and always look forward to working with my students.
