COVID-19 InfoRMATION
Moniteau School District is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and surrounding community is always our first priority. Browse below for general information and the latest updates.
General COVID-19 Information
The Moniteau School District is closely monitoring guidance from local, state, and federal authorities related to educating our students while ensuring the safety of all stakeholders amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic. It is prudent to recognize that as the outbreak evolves, so does the guidance. Organizations such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH), the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) all continue to actively monitor the COVID 19 Pandemic, and measure the effectiveness mitigation efforts worldwide. Changes in guidance from these agencies will in turn impact Moniteau School District's operation and response to the pandemic. As a result, please keep in mind that our Health and Safety Plan and Return to Play documents are both very fluid. Formal approval of these documents by the Board of Directors must occur each time they evolve. Clear and frequent communication to our stakeholders will remain a high priority as we navigate these unprecedented times together.
