This Privacy Policy explains how iCall — Phone Dialer & Messages ("iCall", "the app") handles information. iCall is developed and published by Moni Technology ("we", "us").

The short version
iCall is a phone dialer and messaging app. To do that job it must read your contacts, your call history, and your text messages — the same information the dialer that came with your phone reads.
None of it leaves your device. We operate no server that receives your contacts, call log, or messages. There is no account to create and no sign-in. Everything the app shows you is read from your phone's own storage and stays there.
What we do collect is a small amount of anonymous usage data, plus advertising data collected by Google. Both are described below.
1. Information stored only on your device
The following is read from your phone, used to show you the app's screens, and never transmitted to us or to anyone else:
Contacts (names, phone numbers, photos, groups) — to show who is calling, name the people in your recents and message threads, and let you search, edit, group, and merge contacts.
Call log — to show the Recents list and call details, and to add or remove entries when you place, receive, or delete a call.
SMS and MMS messages, including attachments — to show your conversations, send and receive messages, and download MMS attachments while iCall is your default messaging app.
Phone state and phone number — to place and receive calls, and to know which SIM a call or message belongs to.
Call notifications from other calling apps — explained in section 2.
Your settings and preferences — theme, contact-poster choices, widget setup, and which prompts you have already seen.
This data is held in your phone's own contacts, call log, and message databases, plus a private settings file belonging to iCall. Uninstalling the app removes iCall's own settings file. Your contacts, call log, and messages belong to the phone and remain after uninstall, as they did before you installed iCall.
2. Notification access (optional)
Calls made through chat apps are not written to the phone's call log by Android, so they would be missing from your Recents list. If — and only if — you turn on notification access for iCall, the app reads call notifications from a fixed list of calling apps (Messenger, Facebook, Zalo, Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, Skype and similar) to record that a call happened.
What is stored: the caller's display name, the app the call came through, the time, and whether the call was incoming, outgoing, or missed.
What is not read or stored: your chats, message contents, or notifications from any app outside that fixed list.
This information is kept on your device only and is never transmitted. The feature is off by default, is never required to use iCall, and you can turn it off at any time in Android Settings → Notifications → Device & app notifications — or from within iCall's own Settings screen.
3. Information we do collect
Anonymous usage analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). iCall records a small, fixed set of events so we can see which features are used and where the app is failing — for example that the app was opened, that a screen was viewed, that a call was started, or that a permission prompt was accepted or declined.
These events carry no phone numbers, no contact names, no message contents, no search terms, no dialled digits, and no call durations beyond a coarse range. The set of events and their fields is fixed in the app's source code; personal data cannot be added to them.
Firebase Analytics also collects standard technical information: a randomly generated app-instance identifier, your device model, operating system version, and approximate region derived from your IP address. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses data from apps that use our services" (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
Remote configuration (Google Firebase Remote Config). The app fetches a small configuration file from Google so we can, for example, tell users of a very old version that they should update. This is a download; it sends us no personal information about you.
4. Advertising
iCall shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may collect and use your device's advertising identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, and information about ads you have seen or interacted with. We do not receive your contacts, messages, or call history through advertising, and we never share them with any advertiser.
Google's use of this data is described in "How Google uses data from apps that use our services" (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) and in Google AdMob's policies (support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543).
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), iCall shows a consent screen before personalised ads are used, and you can change your answer at any time from iCall's Settings screen.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
5. What we share
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
The only third parties that receive any data are the Google services described above — Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and AdMob — acting as our service providers. They receive anonymous usage and advertising data only. They never receive your contacts, call log, or messages.
6. Keeping and deleting data
Data on your device stays until you delete it. You can delete individual calls, messages, and contacts inside iCall, and clearing the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps → iCall → Storage removes everything iCall itself has saved, including any call history captured under section 2.
Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months and is then deleted automatically.
To ask us to delete analytics data associated with your app installation, email [your-support-email] and include your device model and the approximate date you installed the app. Because the data is anonymous, this is the only information that lets us find it.
7. Permissions and Google Play
iCall asks to be your default phone app and, optionally, your default SMS app. Android grants these roles only with your explicit approval, and both can be handed back to another app at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Default apps.
Access to your call log and SMS messages is used solely to provide iCall's core dialer and messaging features, as required by Google Play's Permissions policy. This data is not transmitted off your device, sold, or used for any purpose other than showing you your own calls and messages.
8. Children
iCall is a general-purpose phone and messaging app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [your-support-email] and we will delete it.
9. Security
Because your contacts, calls, and messages never leave your device, they are protected by your phone's own security — your screen lock and Android's encryption. Data sent to Google's services is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to its processing, or to withdraw consent.
For data on your device, you can exercise these rights directly: it is visible in the app, editable in the app, and deletable in the app. For anything else, email [your-support-email] and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above. Changes that materially affect how we handle your information will be announced in the app before they take effect.
