Accommodation

The Monash University Prato Centre is non-residential, but the city of Prato offers a large range of long- and short-term accommodation options. Many of these are less than a 10 minute walk from the Centre. The Centre can advise you about your options and negotiate group bookings and reductions, but you must book directly with the hotels or residences. Dimora 16, Foresteria San Niccolò and Teatro Magnolfi Nuovo are the main residences where students stay. To find the location of the various accommodation options, please view the Centre's Prato city map.

A detailed list of accommodation options can be found at the Monash University Prato Centre website.

Note that as of 1 July 2015, a tourist tax for guests of accommodation properties has been introduced, to be paid in cash upon check in.

Private transfers

If you wish to book a private transfer from the airport or train station to your accommodation, the 2019 tariffs from Autonoleggio Lenz can be downloaded here (conference attendees are eligible for the 'Monash rate').
