MEGGA Group in August, 2017, in the Monash Earth Sciences Garden
We are located within the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Monash University's Clayton Campus. We use a range of experimental and analytical tools to understand how trace elements, contaminants and economically valuable metals are cycled between solids and solutions in natural environments and engineered systems. Our projects range from probing the molecular-level mechanisms that control mineral recrystallization in aqueous environments to developing green technologies for the selective extraction of metals from ores.
We are always looking for new members! Students, postdocs and potential collaborators are encouraged to contact Dr. Frierdich to discuss opportunities.
