Graphic Design at Marketing Solutions Company
Role: Graphic Designer
The intern will support real client briefs and Emmpressit’s Digital Pillar brand work, gaining hands-on experience across digital projects. Tasks include layout design, basic video editing, basic web design, and social media visuals. They’ll receive creative mentoring and feedback throughout.
The intern must be familiar with standard illustration and layout software, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects. Additionally, if interns have UI/UX knowledge and interest, they may assist with basic wire-framing or layout design for web projects using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Monash Learning & Teaching Designer
We are looking for communication and collaborative designers to participate in a range of activities related to AI integration into education at Monash. This may include print and web communications, teaching/learning resources, website content, AI literacy content, and helping run interactive workshop sessions with staff and students.
Communication Designer
A chance to further the graphic identity and design materials for the Australian Research Council project Designing Research Translations. This may include print and/or web/digital content depending on the skills and interests of the applicant.

Role 1 | Communication Designer (and/or Motion/Multimedia design)
Design engaging communication assets to support the FREE program, including presentation templates, social media graphics, and event collateral. The intern will translate complex program themes into accessible visual content and must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.
Role 2 | Education Experience Designer
Create educational materials to support participatory workshops and asynchronous learning in the FREE programs. Tasks include developing visual aids, activity guides, and interactive assets. The intern should have skills in visual storytelling, layout design, and be comfortable working with Miro, Figma or equivalent tools."
Design for Impact
Industrial Designer
We are seeking a designer who is passionate about making a difference by taking a global problem and using design to solve it. The DJAMU intern will create strong designs, prototype and test new products from recycled plastic yarn. Technical skills in industry standard software and application are required.
Note: as a MADA Design-linked project, the intern will be supervised by both Ilya Fridman and Elizabeth McClean.
Graphic Designer
Produce advertising and social media assets for publication in Australian Book Review’s print magazine and website. Interns may also be involved in paging, covers and design templates, as well as scanning, formatting, and digitising ABR’s archive. The intern must be familiar with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
