Biography
Hongzan Josh Zhu is a PhD candidate and a teaching associate in the Department of Accounting at Monash University, Australia. He holds a B.Com. in Accounting with Dean's Honour Roll and a B.Com. (Hons) in Accounting with First-Class Honours from the University of Queensland. Before stepping into academia, Josh had industry experience in auditing, assurance, and financial accounting at Ernst & Young and a Nasdaq Stockholm–listed firm.
His research is in the areas of auditing, corporate governance, and the intersection between auditing and emerging technology. He is an ad-hoc reviewer for academic journals (e.g., Accounting and Finance) and conferences (e.g., AFAANZ Conference).
