Professor Yeh-Liang Hsu, Director, Gerontechnology Research Center, Yuan Ze University
Professor Yeh-Liang Hsu is concurrently Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of Gerontechnology Research Centre at Yuan Ze University; CEO of Seda G-Tech Co., Ltd.; Director of Y.Z. Hsu Medical Foundation, Editor-in-Chief for “Gerontechnology” and “Journal of Gerontechnology and Service Management”; Sinophone Chapter President and IT Director of International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG), as well as Co-Director for Italian Design Summer School of the University of Bologna. Prof. Hsu is a renowned academic in Gerontechnology and has been the Dean of Academic Affairs and Secretary General at Yuan Ze University. He is actively involved in the ISG and has chaired the 9th World Conference of Gerontechnology and was previously the Vice President of ISG. His research interests include innovative product design and Gerontechnology.
Professor Ravindra S. Goonetilleke, Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Professor Goonetilleke teaches Human-Centered Design at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and his research interests are innovative design and product development. Prior to HKUST, Ravi was the Human Factors Manager at the NIKE Sport Research Lab in Beaverton Oregon, and a Senior Ergonomist at the Biomechanics Corporation of America in Long Island New York. He has served as a consultant for many multi-national companies such as Exxon-Mobil Corp., MTR Corporation, Hong Kong Telecom, Icon MediaLab (Asia), Honeywell, Inc, Motorola, Procter and Gamble, General Motors, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Dow Corning International, Steelcase, Inc., Lear Seating Corporation, MRC-SKF, Ford and many others in the area of Ergonomics and Product Design. Ravi is the Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics. He also an Associate Editor of Ergonomics in Design, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Human Factors Modelling and Simulation, and Associate Editor Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries. He is on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Human Factors and Ergonomics (IJHFE) and is the Chair of Physical Ergonomics & Human Factors at the Applied Ergonomics and Human Factors Conference. He is the editor of the book, “Science of Footwear” published by the CRC press in 2012. Ravi is a fellow of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (USA) and the Hong Kong Ergonomics Society.

Currently working as a Consultant in the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and head of Cognition and Memory Disorders Service. Also Programme Director for Dementia Care Integration Project which is funded by Ministry of Health, Singapore.

Cheryl Teh currently serves as the Chairperson of The Philharmonic Society of Selangor. She believes that a way to delay the onset of aging is by keeping our brains active - through group singing.
Associate Professor Teh Pei Lee, School of Business, Monash University Malaysia
Dr. Teh Pei Lee is an Associate Professor at the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia. She holds the degrees of Bachelor of Information Technology, Master of Management, and a Ph.D. in Management. Her teaching and research interests cover Management Information Systems, Technology Management, Total Quality Management, Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship, Gerontechnology, Innovation and Learning. She is currently the Associate Editor of the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education and International Journal of Electronic Business. She also serves in editorial board of several international journals such as Journal of Computer Information Systems, Industrial Management & Data Systems, International Journal of Engineering Business Management and etc. She is the founder and Chair of IEEE Malaysia Chapter Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS). She founded the Gerontechnology Lab in Monash University, the first of its kind in Malaysia. She has authored or co-authored papers published in several international journals and conferences proceedings. Her work appears in journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, Journal of Global Information Management and etc.
Mr. Khoo Chuan Keat, Managing Director of Eden-On-The-Park, West Malaysia
Khoo Chuan Keat currently serves as Director of several public and private companies including the Malaysian Youth Orchestra Foundation. He is also a Senior Adviser of ASEAN Advisory. More prominently, he is the Managing Director of Eden-On-The-Park, West Malaysia. Eden-On-The-Park is Malaysia's First Integrated Seniors Lifestyle & Care Residence Resort. Chuan Keat is a prolific writer for the media, tv guest personality as subject matter expert and frequent speaker at conferences on a wide range of topics, most recently on retirement transformation, seniors living and aged care in which he is well-recognized as a leading authority. He was also a key facilitator at the PEMANDU Lab on Seniors Living and a speaker at the REHDA (Real Estate & Housing Developers Association) CEO Forum on "Real estate opportunities in Seniors Living". In addition, Chuan Keat is a pre-eminent tax and strategic business consultant; a well-accomplished leader in the industry and previously a senior Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has also been engaged in advising on strategic visioning of business ventures, corporate reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions as well as lobbying for fiscal policy changes and incentives, and participation in economic roundtable discussions.
Associate Professor Sivalal Sadasivan, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia
Associate Professor Sivalal Sadasivan is a medical doctor with professional training in public health, hospital management, health technology assessment, quality assurance, and health systems research. He has worked in hospitals and was a Deputy Director of the Medical Development Division, as well as head of the Health Technology Assessment programme at Ministry of Health Malaysia. Dr Sivalal has been a consultant on health technology assessment in Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, and a WHO consultant on health policy in Iran and Sudan.
Mr. Moses Choo, Executive Director, National Council for The Blind Malaysia
Choo Siew Cheong, or better known as Moses among the blindness community was born visually impaired. By the age of eight, he was already an orphan and spent ten years of his youth at the St. Nicholas School for the blind, Penang, where he feels rather indebted to the staff and management of the school. With his plans of becoming a professional shattered after receiving his rejection by the Australian High Commission in 1977, he started his career as a book shop Assistant with the in-house book shop of Taylor’s College. After more than 25 years in a corporate environment, he had had the opportunity of holding positions such as a switchboard operator, Technology support, Purchasing Assistant and an Admin Manager. Prior to joining the National Council for the Blind, he was the Admin Manager for Total Corporate Compliance Sdn Bhd, presently known as the Tricor group of companies. In 2002, he joined the National Council for the Blind, Malaysia as an Executive Officer of the Blind Professional Assistance Unit. Within four years, he assumed the post of Assistant Executive Director. In January of 2014, he was appointed the Executive Director.
Mr. Samuel Ng, President, Perak Parkinson's Association
Mr. Sameul Ng is the President and Co-Founder of the Perak Parkinson’s Association (PPA)—a voluntary organization established in 2012 by a group of Persons with Parkinson’s, their caregivers, family members and friends. Through the PPA, Samuel strives to provide Advice, Awareness, Advanced medical information/treatment and Active networking. The PPA is an affiliate of the Malaysian Parkinson’s Disease Association and the World Parkinson’s Congress (Coalition). Samuel’s on-going personal battle with Parkinson’s since he was 42 (in 2007), which resulted in him having to resign from a 16-year-stint with a top pharmaceutical company, has created in him a deep understanding for people with Parkinson’s. His tireless passion and commitment is to provide those with Parkinson’s, the necessary, vital and up-to-date help, healing, hope and a healthy attitude to face the disease with pride and perseverance. Part of his pursuit involves travelling far and wide.
Ms. Saramma, Caregivers for Alzheimer’s family members
Saramma was a lecturer in Business subjects at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Metropolitan College and INTI College for 29 years. Subsequently she joined with Monash University Malaysia, Sunway as a sessional teaching staff. She also works with Associate Professor Dr. Teh Pei Lee in gerontechnology research at Monash University. For the past 24 years she has been a carer for family members with dementia.

Joseph, is the Senior Assistant Vice President Debt & Capital Markets (DCM) at Affin Hwang Capital. He has over 6 years of experience in the financial sector. A Monash University Malaysia Alumni, Joseph joined Affin Investment Bank in 2010.
Dr. June Lim Lay Suan, Managing Director at Toothie Dental
June Lim Lay Suan obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgeon from University of Malaya. She is a skilled dentist with experience in dental CAD/CAM, 3 Shape Trios intra-oral scanner, CEREC system, Blue Sky Bio Plan and updates of latest dental technology. She has 13 years of experience in treating teeth and gum diseases. She has been involved in Community Health Screening & Medical Outreach programs, and Recycling Points by Humanitarian group and NGO Tzu Chi Malaysia. Her work has been published in media such as "Painless Dentistry”, Vicinity – The Urbanite’s Handbook, Issue #04, 2012.
