Grace MacTurk

FACS/Business

This is the first year I have Grace MacTurk in a FACS class and she shines with her positive attitude, effort, creativity and perfect attendance in Parenting. This class encourages students to develop the positive traits that will become habits needed to be successful at parenting, college and career. She was responsible, organized, clever and realistic while completing the Flour Baby Project. She is friendly and willing to volunteer in class discussions even while remote! She has the perseverance and dedication to do her best at whatever she attempts, good skills to have in real-life. Congratulations and thank you Grace!

Emma Duell

Music

Emma is currently a senior. She performs in both choir and orchestra. In addition to being a performer, Emma is a strong leader within our department and her school. She comes to school with a positive attitude and clever ideas. Emma is always lending a helping hand. She is currently helping to organize several service projects, in her role as president of Tri-M National Music Honor Society. One of Emma's greatest attributes is her ability to find the positive in all situations. I have never heard her say a negative word. She is kind, grateful and a pleasure to work with.

Isabella

Servidone-Curtis

Science

During a particularly tough activity on projectile motion, Bella stepped up her game and spent some of her free time with us working her way through the tasks. In this time I saw a dedicated, hard working, and curious student. Getting the right answer wasn't enough, she desired to truly understand why the answers were what they were. Ever since then I have seen a student who is determined to understand physics. Beyond her fantastic attitude towards our classwork, she is responsible, respectful, cheerful, and always has stylish nails that leave me in wonder as to how she can type as efficiently as she does.

- Ms. Shea

Morgan Castelli

Morgan has been involved and present in every class, whether remote or in person. She works hard and completes every assignment. She is a pleasure to have in class and always has a smile (even masked)!

James Hilton

Technology

As a virtual student, James was logged into our Google Classroom Meet on time, was an engaged/active participant, and produced consistently exceptional work. James has transitioned to the Hybrid Model of instruction and has continued to show a high level of motivation and care in the completion of his work. I hope that he considers a career in the field of manufacturing/engineering as he seems to have a talent for the subject.

Vittorio Renda

World Languages

Vittorio has been a student in my Spanish class for the last two years and is an absolute pleasure to teach. He is consistently motivated, on task and eager to learn. He brings his positive attitude to each lesson and consistently puts forth his best effort. Vittorio is a respectful and responsible student who is a great role model for his peers. He helps to create a positive classroom environment with his willingness to always participate and contribute his thoughts and ideas. As an all virtual learner this year, Vittorio has not let this challenge stand in his way of earning excellent grades. I am continually impressed by his work ethic. Vittorio is very deserving of this award.
