Portable Grid Lines

Portable Grid Lines (PGL) were designed to support the quality delivery of Physical Education (PE) by addressing the constraints faced when teaching sports and games in the PE Syllabus. 

PGL strives to:

• Address the lack of appropriate/sufficient school facilities for effective teaching of games

• Function as court/grid lines to mark out playing areas

• Enrich student’s cognitive development through frequent game opportunities within authentic environments

• Minimise equipment set-up/removal time to allow more practice time

Factors considered:

• Flexibility of use with clear identification of court lines on different grounds surfaces and activities

• Convenience in setting-up, organization and storage

• Students’ safety 

• Sustainability

• Cost effectiveness
