• Tell me/us about yourself.

A common interview question is "Tell me about yourself."  Rather than simply introducing yourself, think of it as answering:

"Why are you a good fit for this course and school?"

Aim to keep your response to about 2 minutes.

A simple framework is:

Tell an origin story about yourself, and link it to the course-related skills, soft skills and personality that makes you suitable for the role.

To craft that story and be prepared, think about your write up, where your interest came about,  and how have you been deeperning and developing your skills.  

Explain why this course interests you, why this school/course is a good fit, and how it supports your future aspirations.

Remember: Your goal is to tell your unique story, not to list everything you've done. Speak confidently, show enthusiasm, and most importantly connect with the interviewer and  make it clear why you are a strong fit for the course based on the story.
