Our school offers Effective Communication as our Applied Learning Programme (ALP) designed to develop our pupils to be effective communicators and active thinkers.
Qifa News Network (QNN)
Qifa News Network (QNN), the school’s newscast and signature programme, provides the platform to develop pupils who display an interest in broadcast journalism. Pupils are trained to be little journalists and news presenters. They are given the opportunities to participate in the production and presentation of QNN which serve as the window into the school’s events and immersion trips.

Developing Active Thinkers
Visible Thinking Routines are embedded in our lessons to develop our pupils to be active thinkers. These thinking routines are simple are simple but powerful tools to teach thinking skills explicitly and develop thinking dispositions.
To be effective communicators, pupils need to learn to consider the different and diverse perspectives of others and be confident to share their own. Through the applied learning programme, pupils are free to pen down and discuss their thoughts with their peers in a fun and non-threatening learning environment.
