School Canteen

HALAL OR NON-HALAL FOOD STALL VACANCY IN QIFA PRIMARY SCHOOL CANTEEN

We are looking for a stallholder to operate a Halal or Non-Halal Food Stall in our school canteen with effect from June 2024.

Our canteen operating hours: Mondays to Fridays from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm during school term.

You will be required to operate during the school holidays when necessary.

The interested applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

• Applicant must be Singapore citizen and should preferably have experience in operating school canteen stall.

• Applicant must be healthy and fit and be able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices.

• Applicant must be able to provide cooked food that meets the health / nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board under the Healthy Meals in Schools Programme. This includes the exclusion of deep-fried food items and the maintenance of high levels of food and personal hygiene. Additionally, applicants should have successfully completed the Basic Food Hygiene Course offered by any of the accredited training providers designated by the Workforce Development Agency.

• Successful candidates will undergo medical check-up and apply for a hawker license from National Environment Agency (NEA).

• Applicant must be able to cater snacks and food for meetings and activities in school.

• Any other criteria set by the school.

Please submit the completed form to the school by Friday, 17 May 2024 together with:

• One recent passport-sized coloured photograph

• One photocopy of the Identification Card (front & back)

• A proposed menu and price list

• Photocopy of relevant certificates (such as Basic Food Hygiene Course), if any.

Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an interview with the school's selection panel and may need to prepare for a food tasting session. Late application will not be considered
