Parent of Warren Ang

I started planning and decided to enroll my boy, Warren, in Punggol Primary School since he was in Kindergarten 1. PPS offers this CCA - Multi-sports, where children can learn as many as 14 different kinds of sports from P3 to P6. Warren enjoys sports since young. This multi-sports CCA will definitely benefit him as he can develop self-esteem, teamwork & leadership skills as well as build relationships with team-mates, something which he cannot learn from the textbooks.

As a concerned parent, I signed up to be a parent volunteer to understand how the school system operates. PPS teachers are very responsible and committed. They have created lots of learning opportunities for their students from P1 to P6 during recess time. Parent volunteers were tasked to assist the teachers to encourage students to participate in these meaningful activities conducted during recess period.

Few weeks into Primary 1, Warren started to share with me about PPS STAR Values. His teachers and classmates were very encouraging. The encouragement and kind gestures, Warren had grown into a very positive child. He always displays enthusiasm and looks forward to school even during holidays.

When I volunteered in big events like Children’s Day and Teachers’ Day celebrations, I could sense the great unity that the school is like a big family to everyone. I constantly received a lot of remarkable and positive feedback about school from Warren.

Warren is currently in P3 and I am very happy with the school for grooming him into a more confident and disciplined boy. We have indeed chosen a great Primary school.
