From the P1 Orientation day to the first day of school; from the 100th day performance the kids put up had made us crying tears of joy and feeling proud as parents; our first Parent-Teacher-Conference - everything had been so well-organised, with so much heart and effort. I will never forget the elaborate and beautiful balloon art decor that welcome kids back on the first day of school - all done by parents with so much pride and love!
There is a very strong Parent-School partnership, evident in the parent support group’s involvement in school activities - so much so we are all inspired to volunteer too. The experience has been enriching and fulfilling. The staff are ever professional, and the teachers immensely caring and dedicated.
My girl’s form teacher took special effort to help the kids transition from kinder, was candid yet reassuring in her interactions with us parents, and together with the language teachers, had a superb teamwork with us in nurturing the kids. The form teacher is a very experienced in nurturing little children and treated bullying very seriously yet sensitively. She will look out for the quieter ones and has a way with the mischievous ones. The teachers work hard to make learning fun and give ample opportunities for all the kids to shine.
When my girl progressed to P3, I had the opportunity to interact with her English, Chinese and Math teachers, all who exude passion in their work and work beyond their school hours to help the kids.
The school is really practical and forward looking- the kids wear dri fit collared tees that look presentable and are so comfortable, and shorts for boys, skorts for girls. The same versatile wear takes them from assembly to PE.
And yes I can rave non stop about the school and the teachers because I could not ask for a better school for my daughter, Aiwei.
